The "Hotel Cavallino Bianco" case
The project
Some projects, more than others, highlight the importance of collaboration between realities with different experiences and skills, weaving in results of extraordinary beauty. The box created for the Hotel Cavallino Bianco in Ortisei is one of these examples.
A packaging made “four hands” with the marketing agency that takes care of the communication of the luxury hotel. The goal was to create a bath salt box to offer hotel guests, an exclusive gift that would add a touch of sophistication to their experience and stay. The project required a solution that was easy to assemble, practical to open and close, durable to hold the beauty product, and able to reflect the distinctive elegance of the South Tyrolean property.
After thoroughly understanding the client's needs, we opted for a hinged box with a top handle, a model that is extremely versatile and practical to carry, perfect for holding personal care products such as bath salts.
Packaging features and working steps
The box was made of 350-gram Fedrigoni Tintoretto board, a premium, FSC®-certified paper that combines strength and a pleasant tactile finish. After adapting the graphic print file with our team, the process consisted of these main steps:
Creation of the die layout: we developed a die layout in the shape of an “X,” a complex technical solution but essential to achieve the desired result.
Offset printing: to ensure excellent quality even on large runs, we chose offset printing, an ideal technology for color accuracy and detail rendering.
Laser punching: in order to faithfully replicate the structure of the design, we adopted laser punching, an innovative technique that ensures great precision and enhances even the most complex processing details.
Packaging with manual perusal: each box is carefully finished by our team at the packaging stage to ensure a flawless result.
The result
In photo, the final result: a bath salt box that perfectly reflects the exclusive identity of Hotel Cavallino Bianco. Elegant, minimalist, refined, and functional, the box is practical to assemble, easy to transport, and ideal for its intended weight and content.
Thanks to an optimized manufacturing process, we were able to complete the entire project in just 5 days from approval to printing, even ahead of the agreed timeline. An achievement that demonstrates the effectiveness of a well-orchestrated collaboration.
