The "Carli Costruzioni s.r.l." case
The project
Carli Costruzioni s.r.l., a landmark in the Verona construction scene, approached Boxerize with a specific need: to create a versatile and durable folder to hold both documents - such as floor plans and estimates - and small items, such as pens, pen drives and keys. The main request was to create a practical, capacious and attractive product with a design that would graphically recall the world of construction.
Carli Costruzioni, in addition to providing a complete kit capable of communicating closeness and reliability, also wanted to convey a very specific message to its customers: "We follow you in the construction of your home, from the first brick to the moment of the turnkey."
After a thorough analysis and several discussion sessions with the customer, we designed a folder capable of meeting all these needs.
What steps we followed
1. Creation of the die layout
Our graphic design team started with a paper model, then moved on to digital versions developed with CAD software. This process led us to the final die layout, designed to achieve the best binder for capacity and strength.
2. Choice of Material
Given the need to create a folder capable of holding objects - although small and light in weight - we selected a 350-gram thick cardboard, perfect for strength and durability.
3. Offset Printing
To ensure high-definition images and text and a professional finish, we used offset printing, ideal for medium and large runs, ensuring fast production times and quality results.
4. Plastification
We opted for single-sided lamination, an ennobling that gives not only aesthetic elegance but also greater resistance to wear and tear.
5. Cutting with Laser Punching Machine
Thanks to the precision of our laser punching machine, we tailor-made a structure with complex elements and unique customizations that are essential for a distinctive design.
6. Manual Assembly
After several tests and prototypes, our team manually assembled each folder, taking care of every detail to ensure a flawless result.
The final result
The folder made for Carli Costruzioni s.r.l. meets the initial requirements perfectly: capacious, durable and original, with a design that reflects the identity of the client and the construction industry.
